About

The AMERICAN Front Porch

Welcome to The American Front Porch! It’s nice to meet ya. Please kick up your feet and stay a spell.

I’m Teresa Mull, a journalist, author, and editor based in the Pennsylvania Wilds. I focus my writing on current events and culture and revel in capturing the spirit and enterprise of off-beat characters and the rugged individualism that makes them — and America — worth celebrating.

Here you’ll find a collection of my work that I hope will entertain, inform, and inspire you.

I’m eager to share the perspectives of the silenced majority who works hard behind the scenes to make our country exceptional, but who are too often overlooked. I strive to tell of the challenges, struggles, concerns, and triumphs of small-town entrepreneurs, of the men and women who wear steel-toed boots, overalls, work gloves, and trucker hats, and to honor the time-honored traditions of our native country, “Land of the noble free, thy rocks and rills, thy woods and templed hills.”

If you’d like to be friends, feel free to drop me a line!
